Scouts (10.5-14)

Time & day

  • Thursday evening from 19.00-20.30

Looking for a new group?

If you like to join a fun group, which is always busy in creating a playful and learning environment together with children of your age please get in touch with us and we could arrange a trial date with you to see if you have got what it takes to become a Scout.

As this is a group which hasn’t been running for a long time, we have still got a few places left for you to join us in, and join us in creating your own group & make a lot of new friends

Program

Every week the leaders of the group will set activities for you which will be challenging and fun in different environments & with different tasks, each of them exciting & will lead to you getting as many badges on your uniform as possible. Your main aim will be to achieve the highest award possible in Scouts which is your Chief Scout Gold award. All our programs are run in our scout hut, on the field next to the hut, in the area or in a local forest. (Due to the current climate they are partially still run in an online environment) .

Programs that can be done within our group are:

Crafts, Cooking, Sport & Games, Tying knots, map & compass reading, Hiking, Survival & life skills

We try to create a constant change of environment and program to challenge each of our Scouts and still make it fun to join us for a weekly activity on a Thursday night.

We as leaders would always like to see new faces, and hope to have as much children joining us during the season. If you like to join please get in touch with us
